Alex Cardenas knows what it means to be part of a hardworking community. Like many families in Imperial County, he understands the importance of stability, opportunity, and having leaders who truly listen.
As a member of the Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors, and former Board President, Alex has focused on what matters most: keeping energy affordable, protecting our water resources, and strengthening our local economy.
He has worked to deliver ratepayer relief, maintain reliable service, and defend Imperial Valley’s senior water rights—because he knows these decisions directly impact families, farms, and the future of our region.
Alex is running for re-election to continue delivering results, protect our resources, and ensure every community—including Westmorland—is heard and represented.
